Celebrated concert organist and composer Thierry Escaich is organist of St-Etienne-du-Mont in Paris and Professor of Music at the Paris Conservatoire.

Come listen to one of the greatest improvisers and composers of the world and watch his performance projected on a 10-foot screen at Our Lady of Refuge on November 21, 2014 at 7:30pm.

Thierry Escaich has been hailed by L’Express as one of the “The New French Geniuses.”  He plays all over the world and has been called the “Prince de l’harmonie.”

Mr. Escaich will play works by Cesar Franck, Maurice Durufle and Charles Tournemire, and will improvise four pieces in specific musical forms based on some of the following themes:

Simple Gifts   Ave Maria   Good Night Irene
New York, New York (from “On the Town”)

These will be sung by professional vocal ensemble The Salvatones.

Our Lady of Refuge Church is at the corner of Ocean and Foster Avenues in Brooklyn.  The front doors of the church will open at 6:45pm.

Tickets will be available at the door for $20.00 (checks preferred).
