John and Marianne Weaver

Marianne and John Weaver have included music for flute and organ on Dr. Weaver’s recital programs for many years. Indeed, their musical collaboration has inspired John Weaver to compose music for flute and organ, and two of these works have been published: “Rhapsody for Flute and Organ” (Boosey & Hawkes) and “Dialogues for Flute and Organ” (E.C. Schirmer). The latter was composed for their performance at St. John’s College, Cambridge University as part of the International Congress of Organists held in Cambridge, England in 1987.
